About you

You are an experienced recruitment professional with several years of experience in the recruitment of software development professionals. You are seeking a versatile position, combining recruitment and employer branding. You are keen on organizing events and initiatives and you enjoy reflecting on them in a witty and intriguing way with written and visual content on social media and other channels. When it comes to recruitment, you are a results-driven professional, who is familiar with the specifics of IT recruitment and someone who is not afraid to experiment in order to ensure the best candidate experience. As part of Lab08’s team you will have the following responsibilities: 

Recruitment:
  • End to end recruitment process for software development roles (+ QAs, Designers and Product Managers) – advertising the roles (internally and externally), shortlisting CV’s based on the business requirements, conducting interviews, assessing culture fit, soft skills, and long term potential
  • Actively partnering with hiring managers to determine the hiring needs and role specifics
  • Advising hiring managers on the most efficient assessment process for the certain roles
  • Defining and implementing the best sourcing strategy to ensure timely filing of the assigned open positions
  • Extending offers to successful candidates, managing expectations and creating a good rapport with the qualified candidates
  • Ensuring regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates in order to grant timeliness of the recruitment process
  • Acting as a point of contact for the Internal Referral ProgramCompleting weekly status reports on openings and staffing activities as well as reports for key recruitment metrics
  • Maintaining an internal ATS (Applicant tracking system) for the whole process
Employer Branding:
  • Conceptualizing, publishing and managing social media and blog content according to the employer branding strategy of the company
  • Participating in job fairs/career events and presenting the job opportunities to graduates and more senior experts
  • Creating long-term connections and partnerships with external organizations; working on shared initiatives
  • Community management – taking care of internal and external IT community-building initiatives

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 4+ years of experience in a recruitment role, specializing in software development profiles
  • Ability to work with different internal and external stakeholders, engineering and support teams
  • Ability to conduct telephone screens and face to face interviews with shortlisted applicants
  • Basic understanding of agile software development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and the ability to differentiate various programming languages and tools
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in maintaining an ATS and creating ad hoc reports, based on the company’s needs
  • Excellent candidate sourcing skills in relevant channels
  • Experience in creating and maintaining relationships with external partner organizations (recruitment agencies, universities, event organizers, etc.)
  • Experience in conceptualizing, publishing and managing social media content on Facebook and LinkedIn
